NCHS is a health statistics agency of the United States that compiles statistical health information. This data allows them to identify health trends, health problems, and/or health disparities, document health of populations and subgroups, evaluate health policy, and more.

The US Census counts every resident in the United States. The Constitution requires that this be done every 10 years. The most recent census was completed in 2010, and the data is being released as available.
