Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Literacy: Instructor Resources

This guide is intended to help you critically engage with generative AI tools including how they intersect with information literacy.

Resources for Instructors

Generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, have presented challenges and opportunities to university faculty and students. The number of new tools continues to grow and AI is now embedded in familiar software. These tools have caused some disruption, but they also provide new ways to engage students in their learning and prepare them for life after graduation. This page is intended to offer some suggestions and resources for managing Generative AI use in the classroom.

Hot Tip: a simple internet search (e.g. "instructor resources for using generative AI") will lead you to a wealth of excellent guides from academic institutions.
