What are the library hours?
How do I take materials out of the libraries?
To check out materials, go to the front desk (check out desk) at the Library. You'll need your Holy Family ID card.
How do I access the databases to find articles from off campus?
Sign-In using the same log-in as your Canvas account.
What do I do if full text is not available in a database?
Our databases include abstracts (summaries) and selected full text of articles. If the full-text article is not available in one database, it may be available in another. Search the Publication Finder by journal title to see which database includes the full text.
How can I get items from another library when Holy Family does not have what I need?
If we don't have the item that you need in our collection, we can request it for you from another library. Fill out an Interlibrary Loan request form.
How do I cite in APA, MLA or Chicago style?

How does faculty request library instruction for a class?
If a professor says they have a book on reserve in the Library, what does that mean?
Instructors can place items on reserve in the Library for their class using a Library service called "Course Reserve." Click the link for more information regarding this service.
