Tests are classified into two categories:

Published tests are available commercially from a test publisher. Often there are restrictions on purchase in that buyers need certain credentials in order to use and purchase materials. Students should check with their faculty for additional information regarding departmental test holdings and access.

Unpublished tests have not been published commercially by a test publisher, but they might be published in journal articles or books. If you can locate the journal article or book, you might have access to the test.

Provides reviews of over 2,700 contemporary testing instruments in psychology and education. Available online or in print at both library locations.
